At the 2026 ICT Next Awards, hosted by the Ministry of Science and ICT and the Korea Communications Agency (KCA), EMX received the Deputy Prime Minister's Commendation in recognition of its breakthroughs in AI-driven manufacturing and process innovation.
Organized to celebrate top-performing companies backed by South Korea's ICT Promotion Fund, the event featured a showcase presentation by EMX. The company drew industry-wide attention by presenting how its AI-powered digital twin technology successfully automates 3D modeling workflows—a process traditionally reliant on labor-intensive manual work.

EMX, a South Korean VFX and digital twin startup, has raised 4 billion KRW (approx. $3 million USD) in a Pre-Series A round, bringing its total secured growth capital to around 10 billion KRW just two years after inception. Setting an industry first, EMX was selected for both South Korea’s prestigious Deep Tech TIPS and Scale-up TIPS accelerator programs. The company has also earned top honors, including the Grand Prize (Deputy Prime Minister's Award) at an R&D challenge hosted by the Ministry of Science and ICT, alongside an Excellence Award from the Seoul Business Agency (SBA). The company shared proven results from applying CDT directly to original series for major global OTT platforms, demonstrating that the technology delivers both superior visual quality and dramatically streamlined production efficiency. Moving beyond conventional VFX, EMX highlighted its vision to fundamentally reshape next-generation global content production pipelines through advanced 3D spatial reconstruction and digital twin solutions.

Recently showcased at the Korea Police World Expo, it gained strong interest from international police officials across Germany, Singapore, and Vietnam.
